The Tory Leather Martingale Collar is a great training tool for owners who want more enjoyable walks with their dog. The wide, 1 inch Havana leather dog collar offers a large surface area, preventing damage that can happen with narrow collars. It's more corrective than a standard collar, but not as harsh as a choke chain or other kinds of control collars. The Martingale Collar is constructed with two loops - a main collar that goes around the dog's neck and a second, smaller loop that connects the dee rings on the main collar. When the leash is attached to the dee ring on that second, smaller loop, pressure is applied to the dog's neck if it pulls against the leash; as soon as the dog stops pulling, pressure is released.
