How do I return an item?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused product within 30 days (we must be notified 3 days after receipt if you wish to exchange or return a saddle) of receipt (as indicated by UPS) for an exchange or refund of the purchase price of the merchandise. All items that qualify for "Free Shipping" and are returned to us by the customer will be credited for the price of the saddle less the cost of the original shipping to you. Returns will not be accepted after the 30 day limit. Items must be in new condition with tags and packaging in place. If your order qualified for "Free Shipping" and you return items that cause your order to go below the dollar amount needed to qualify for "Free Shipping", you will be credited for the price of the goods returned less the cost of the original shipping to you.
All large orders are subject to a limited amount of returns allowed. (Example if you purchase 10 pairs of boots and 10 pairs of breeches we may limit the amount that you can return to 1 pair of boots and 1 pair of breeches on a case by case bases). In most cases exchanges are welcome.
Used, abused, or broken after use items will not be accepted. Items without original packaging or with tags removed will not be accepted. If original packaging is missing and an item is returned, customer will be charged 25% restock fee because we can't sell the items as new without ALL packaging and labels in tact. If you ruin the box that boots or anything else comes in by putting a label directly on the box, you will be charged a 25% restock fee because we can't sell these boots as new since the box is now ruined. If any product is returned without the original packaging in new condition, your will only be credited 25% of your purchase price. We are sorry, but for obvious reasons, bits are NOT RETURNABLE if they are placed in the horse's mouth! Please place a bed sheet on your horse when you try on blankets and sheets. Blankets must be returned free of horse hair and dirt for a refund. All shipping charges on ALL Exchanges will be at the buyer's expense. Saddles may be returned or exchanged within 3 days of receipt of saddle, but only if they are in NEW UNUSED condition, may not have been ridden in, no wear marks may be visible. Shipping charges will not be refunded unless the product is defective or we accidentally ship you the incorrect item. The Original Horse Tack Company does not accept returns for clearance, closeout or custom color/size items. Once opened, computer software is non-returnable.
For your protection, we recommend that you ship your return back to us via UPS or US Postal Service with insured service. This protects you in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. This will also allow you to track your return shipment easily through that carrier. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected, damaged, or lost shipments.
